On behalf of the Strike FC Wisconsin, we cordially invite you to the 2014 Kohl’s American Cup. Join us for a great weekend of soccer and fun at Ewald Soccer Fields in Oconomowoc and Wales Park in the beautiful Lake Country area of Waukesha County. Parks include concessions, restrooms, and picnic areas for all to enjoy. We hope you will join us.

Information: The Strike FC Wisconsin Kohl’s American Cup will be a great way to wrap up the Spring season. This is our 26th consecutive year of hosting a spring tournament. The 2013 tournament brought over 200 teams and 1860 players to the Lake Country area. For the first time, the 2013 tournament was also hosted 45 academy teams. This year promises to be bigger and better.
Kohl’s Cup 2014 Tournament Rules
Registration: Applications including the entry fee must be received by May 7, 2014 to be considered for entry. Official WYSA team rosters and medical release forms must be submitted with applications. All teams will be notified of acceptance by May 14. Schedule and directions will be emailed by May 18.
Eligibility: RECREATONAL & ACADEMY TEAMS ONLY – NO Select or Tournament teams. Teams must be comprised of the players that appear on their respective league’s recreational-level regular season WYSA roster. Teams may have up to three guest players.
Schedules: All teams will play a minimum of three games. The tournament committee will work to create brackets of balanced teams to provide competitive games for each team. Please provide your 2013 fall record on the registration form. The tournament committee will also work to be flexible with scheduling to accommodate teams with conflicts with league games. Most teams will play two games on Saturday and one game on Sunday. Local teams may be scheduled for Friday night games.
Refunds: Checks will be held until teams are notified of their acceptance. All entries confirmed are final. No refunds issued after acceptance of team.
Awards and Scoring: Individual awards will be awarded to all tournament participants. Individual trophies will be awarded to the first-place U12 and U14 teams. Tournament points will be scored as follows: Win (6 points), tie (3 points), shutouts (1 point) and total goals (1 point per goal up to 3 goals), for a maximum of 10 points.
Other Information: Food and beverage are available for purchase. Dogs, grills, smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the soccer complex grounds.
